  • For the greatest breakfast on the entire planet: The Village Coffee Shop - Boulder - get the blueberry pancake

  • Also good breakfast: Snooze - Boulder & Denver

  • The Buff - Boulder

  • Cafe Mexicali - Boulder (one of our favorites)

  • Hopdoddy - Denver (get the El Diablo. Also, yes it's a chain, but it's fundamental to who we are as people)

  • Denver Central Market - huge food market. Get the fried chicken sandwich from Lunchboxx

  • Golden Mill - Golden - self pour tap wall 

  • Unfortunately our favorite bar in Boulder just closed (Dark Horse) but you can still grab a personal pitcher from Half Fast (you only need one) or an $8 pitcher of PBR from the Sundown Saloon

  • Seven Grand - Denver 

  • BurnDown - Denver

  • Avanti - Denver and Boulder - a lot of food options

  • The Sink - Boulder - A staple Boulder bar

Outdoors

  • Hike the flatirons in Chataqua Park - Boulder

  • Hang out by the Boulder Creek - Boulder

  • If you're daring, climb the Manitou Incline

  • Hike or drive up Pikes Peak

  • Garden of the Gods

  • Amazing hiking literally everywhere.

  • A drive to Nederland and a coffee at Ned General Cafe or a pizza at Crosscut Pizza was a staple of ours during college. There's loads of good hiking trails from the Nederland area (Lost Lake, Diamond Lake, Rainbows Lakes, Fourth of July, Hessie, Crater Lakes).

  • A drive up Flagstaff Road (Our first date was a quick hike up this road)

  • A drive up to Gold Hill through Sunshine Canyon (get a cookie from the Gold Hill Store & Pub)

  • Hang out at Gross Reservoir 

Entertainment

  • Grab a drink at Jacksons and then walk across the street to catch a cheap Rockies game (the beers at the game will be more expensive than the ticket because they suck)

  • See a show at Red Rocks or some of our other favorite venues (the Ogden, Gothic, Bluebird, Fillmore, Larimer Lounge, Fiddler's Green)

  • God willing the greatest hockey team on earth is still in the fight for the Stanley Cup, catch a playoff game at Ball Arena 

  • Great zoo and Aquarium
